Day 01 : Delhi / Leh ( By Flight )On arrival to Leh Airport you will be provided meet & greet assistance with the Traditional Welcome by the representative of Mantana Tours & Travels. Later you will be transferred & check into your hotel. followed by complementary cup of hot tea. Hot lunch will be served at your hotel. Afternoon leave for sightseeing of Leh with English Speaking Guide to visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace or Sankar monastery. Dinner & Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 02 : Leh Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast at your hotel leave for full day sightseeing of Leh with English Speaking Guide to visit Shanker Gompa, it is a monastery of yellow sect of the Buddhism. It houses the image of Chanaric and various tanks, visit the Leh place. After lunch visit Spituk and Phyang, monastery of the red sect of the Buddhism, the Gompa lies 20 kms short of Leh/Srinagar road. The monastery possesses some of the most exquisite statues and tankas. Hot lunch will be served at your hotel. Evening is free at leisure or personal activities. Dinner & Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 03 : Leh / Hemis/ Thikes & Shey Same Day Trip
Morning after breakfast at your hotel you will be driven for Same Day Trip to Leh for Shey, Thikse and Hemis monasteries. Shey on the way to Hemis and 15 kms from Leh is set up on a hill and largest golden topped victory, the monastery had a two storey statue of the sitting Buddha wrought of copper and gold that leaves the sense breathless. Thikse enroute to Hemis Gompa provides a panoramic view of the green Indus valley. Thikse houses beautiful tankas. There are 60 residents lamas. Hemis, Ladakh's biggest monastery is 49 kms from Leh, the Gompa contains quite a few gold statues and stapes decorated with precious stone. It has super collection of tankas including the one which is supposed to be the largest one in existence and is exhibited only once in every 11 years. Morning after breakfast at your hotel leave for same day trip to Alchi enroute sighseeing of Monastery, Likar Gompa contains a number of enormous clay statues of Buddha in different forms. Founded during 12th Century, Lakir was the first royal monastery to be established in ladakh under direct Tibeatan influence, further rive to Alchi monastery consists of six temples which contain a chorten seated Buddha and exquistive paintings. Over 10 centuries old, profusely painted walls depict the events of Buddha's life, lams and musicians. Hot lunch will be served ( one can carry from its respective hotel. )Return back to your Leh by evening. Dinner Overnight stay at your hotel.Day 05 : Leh / Delhi Onward Journey ( By Flight )
Morning after breakfast at your hotel in time you will be provided departure transfer to Leh Airport to board your connecting flight for Delhi. On arrival meet assistance and transfer to the New Delhi International Airport to board your flight for the Onward Journey with new Friends of MANTANA TOURS & TRAVELS.
